On Thursday , 12th February , 2015 , The Audrey Pack team in conjunction with Cussons baby , Access bank , Zaron cosmetics, GSMA, Vas2nets,Godrej and Kenya airways were at Eko hospital , Ikeja to lend their support for the Maternal and Child Mortality Reduction campaign(MCMR) .
The Managing Director, the Audrey Pack, Lilian Odim moderated the event speaking with participants on the need for pregnant women to constantly have information available to them to help make life easier for both mothers and their children . A question and answer session was taken, while new mums registered on the Audrey Pack platform. Partner organizations present were also given time to briefly speak;
Ezinne Orji from Access bank spoke on the W initiative for women, which is a comprehensive range of loan products and credit facilities; with access to W community and helpful advice on family and finance matters and a wide range of opportunities to accessing foreign and local health facilities .
GSMA represented by Victor Ohuruogu also spoke on the mobile midwife, an accessible platform for pregnant women and nursing mothers to receive medical and health tips via their mobile phones.
While Onyinye from Zaron cosmetics spoke on the need for women to remain beautiful even while pregnant by taking advantage of Zaron’s affordable range of cosmetics.
Tunde Kulajolu a representative from Kenya airways spoke on the benefits Audrey mums who fly with the airline such as an assured seat and the best in-flight service available.
At the end of the day, the Audrey pack was shared, while gifts from Cussons baby, Zaron cosmetics and Goodknight
were given to all present.
