Packing your hospital bag as a first time mother can sometimes be daunting if you don’t know what to carry along with you to the hospital.
Some hospitals usually give out a list to the expectant mother months before the baby’s arrival so you are not rushing off at the last minute to get things done.
It is also advised that your hospital bag is packed and stored away 2- 3 weeks before your due date, so that in the event of any surprises you are well prepared in advance.
When packing your hospital bag remember you are packing for two, so that’s one bag for you the mother and the other for your baby. We will concentrate today on what the mother needs to carry along with her in her own bag.
